About Mini Makers

This publication consists of four different page sizes and is roughly 100 pages, all wire-bound together for ease and comfort when children are working on the design challenges within. Throughout the book, you will find many activities in the five sections, all aimed at engaging children while teaching design. The publication includes perforations for easy access, folding pages for larger activities and posters, cutouts for various challenges, and folders for storing any loose items along the way.

Production:

Each Mini Makers copy is hand-wire-bound for durability and easy use, especially for children. The wire binding adds a crafted touch and allows pages to lay flat, enhancing the user experience for young readers and creators.

Activities:

Each activity in the book is inspired by distinguished designers who encapsulate its essence. The Mid-Century Modern edition showcases 12 influential figures from that era, including luminaries like Charles Eames, Paul Rand, and Florence Knoll. Each designer's unique influence is reflected in various activities throughout the book.

Touch Points:

Mini Makers transcends being a mere publication; it stands as a comprehensive brand that encapsulates the company's vision. The brand extends across various touchpoints, including ephemera, posters, the physical book sleeve, and the website where the publication comes to life. It's a holistic expression of our commitment to creativity and innovation.

Future:

Moving forward, Mini Makers is still a work in progress, as a new collaboration of designers has formed to revamp Mini Makers and create new volumes.
